Social media has had a significant influence on people over the years. It has enabled individuals to connect with others on a scale never seen before. With billions of people using the internet, anyone can reach out to them with just a tap of a finger. Artists use social media platforms to showcase their work in hopes of reaching a wider audience.
Unfortunately, not every creator receives the recognition they hope for. This lack of attention on social media can be disheartening. Posting what you believe to be a masterpiece and receiving few likes or comments may leave you feeling unnoticed and unappreciated, which can be difficult to cope with.
Many creators grapple with the thought that if their work goes unnoticed, it holds no value. This internal struggle is common among creators, who often feel like lone warriors facing insurmountable challenges. It's easy to feel powerless in the face of this daunting beast. Uncertainty about what to do next and how long it will take to overcome these challenges can be overwhelming.
The number one thing every creator needs to remember!
The most important thing every creator needs to remember to grow, improve, and succeed is to keep creating. It's understandable that when you're facing a challenge much bigger than yourself and it seems like the best choice is to give up, the beast you're facing is actually watching you. It sees you and acknowledges you, and with every strike, it affects you in some way. Sometimes, it may seem too small for you to notice, but it's still making an impact. With every strike, you're discovering new areas and finding new openings. You're slowly learning about this challenge and growing. You're making a difference... one that matters.
Creators must never stop creating. Even if you've made a thousand posts with no attention, keep going and make it a thousand and one. Every effort you make is another chance to reach your goal, whether it's to make a certain impact, reach a specific audience, or seek validation. There are people out there looking for something that interests them, and you have the potential to be that interest. You can teach, entertain, and impress them. Show them that what you've created is worth every second of your time.
There are numerous creators we find online who, if we look back at their first posts, were posting persistently despite receiving little attention. Some of these creators didn't even have any support from their family or friends, but they kept the light in their eyes and stayed consistent. You might have thought of a specific creator as I described this, one who started with nothing and is now known by everyone.
They didn't give up, and no one achieves success by giving up. You shouldn't give up, either. Keep on creating even when the odds seem unlikely, or it feels like it may never happen because one day, it just might. But if you give up before that day, it never will. So keep making and never stop whenever you can find the time. Do your absolute best.
More importantly, Do it because you can.
Remember that if anyone should appreciate their work the most, it should be you. Create because you love to create. You know what I mean:
Draw because you want to draw
Record because you love making videos
Write because you're itching to get another word down
Create because you live, too.
Being a creator is a lot of work but also a simple good thing. It's something you can look forward to, something that you can be proud of. You are creating things that you can look back to and say "wow, I made that". I met many artists, poets and creators in my lifetime. People from all over the world. I read many works of people of the past, people who are no longer in this world.
There is a lesson I want to stress to you, something that you should know.
"Create while you can because when you can't, you will say 'one more time.'"
Don't stop creating; keep on going, and never give up. This is the number one thing every creator needs to remember, especially you.

I agree with a lot of what you said. I think what throws a lot of people off is percieiving these things in a way that seems daunting. It’s important to build a relationship with these things that makes the task more of an opportunity rather than a chore. Especially when it comes to things like content creation and investing. The thing is not the journey it’s a part of the journey. You do what you do, and you let the rest of it run in the background. Consistency is key.
Very inspiring post! It’s hard to be a creator out there with so many other amazing artists, but sometimes, you just have to keep going. Time to make that one thousand and first artwork…
